  • A CE-eligible 2-day Clinical Conference on Grief and Loss, taught by national experts Dr. Robert A. Neimeyer and Carolyn Ng as well as Chicagoans José A. Hernández Zeind, MS, LCPC, Dr. Froma Walsh, Dr. Molly Witten, and Boston-based Dr. Linda Emanuel, offered in-person in Chicago, IL and online throughout the U.S. and around the world.

Learning objectives:

Learning Objective #1

 Apply attachment-informed and evidence-based grief therapy frameworks — including continuing bonds theory, meaning-making approaches, and psychoanalytic perspectives — to assess and treat bereaved clients across clinical settings.

Learning Objective #2

Integrate systemic and family resilience models into grief practice — drawing on culturally responsive approaches, including migratory grief, to support diverse individuals and families navigating loss and uncertainty.

Learning Objective #3

Articulate how existential and developmental dimensions of loss — including existential maturation and end-of-life processes — inform clinical conceptualization and therapeutic intervention with grieving clients.
